In the wist of a sigh
In the blink of an eye
Before the whys
Forever pays the price
For if ever you try
To get past the white lie
Slipped in with a beatific smile
You'll come to realise
No matter the miles
Or colour or guise
You are always surprised
At the enterprise
Logic defies
How deception beguiles
You are mesmerized
You sign the dotted lines
And forever pay the price
