Getting lost is not a waste of time

The sunshine blogger award

I’ve been nominated for this sunshiny award by Lisa M Boyd whose blog is written with kindness on the big and little things real life is made of. Thank you Lisa for writing and for inspiring your readers to pay it forward. Readers…Please do visit her site.

This is a first for me and I’m truly honoured…And I hope I’m doing this right 🙂 I’ve nominated people who have inspired me to keep writing…with their kind comments, encouragement, knowlege and amazing experiences and emotions they have shared. Bless you all.

Here are the Sunshine blogger award rules.

RULES: Thank the person who nominated you, add the link to their blog, answer the eleven questions given to you, nominate 11 other bloggers, ask your nominees 11 other questions and notify your nominees after you upload your post.

But first, Lisa M Boyd posed these interesting sunshiny questions for me to answer. Here we go.

1. If you could go anywhere right now where would it be?

Oh that’s easy! To the mountains.  Trek up to a place, pitch tent, watch the stars, the river, glaciers, forests…gimme any and all of those. And talk. Lots. With my person who’s been a part of me.

2. Beach or Mountains?

Haha…I answered that even before reading this question. Having wandered, got lost, found…in the Himalayas, I know the earth there.

3. Do you like whip cream on your hot chocolate?

There’s only one answer to this one right? In the world!

4. Are you always early, right on time, or late

Right on time. It’s got me into some funny situations. There was a wedding this year and I got to the venue on dot…and welcomed the host!

5. Do you push snooze on your alarm clock?

No.  Not an option  I wake up and wear my running shoes and then brush my teeth. If my brain knew there was a snooze button, it would never get those eyelids open. Shhhh…

6. What decade in your lifetime has been your favorite?

This one. It’s been a series of Whoa! I don’t believe this is happening to me moments.

7. Pepsi or Coke?

Pepsi. I don’t quite know why. It’s probably something from childhood….

8. Dogs or Cats?

Dogs follow me. For reasons unknown. For days in the mountains. So dogs.

9. What is another hobby you have besides writing?

Running…I guess that’s more than a hobby. Hmm what else… I do this and that and and experience worlds. Learned to play the piano, pottery, painting, dancing, languages (5 of them!)….loved every bit of all of those worlds. Also learnt that I can and I do keep traveling.

10. Can you cook? Legit question not everyone can (me). 😊

Yep. And well. And fast….I believe a  home cooked meal can be prepped and served in 20 mins …That’s my aim …but if I have to spend time making ravioli or Vella cheedai from scratch….I enjoy the hour(s) spent.

11. Blanket over head, or head out over blanket

Ooooo that’s the toughest one yet. Winters….snuggle deep, head covered, nose out. It’s a skill 😋

  1. Awesome answers! You are a girl after my own heart. Loved your first answer. My husband, and I love to pitch a tent. We our outdoor enthusiasts. Also when I was in Junior High I took the Pepsi/Coke challenge at the Spokane Interstate Fair. Pepsi was always my favorite, but I had no idea which I would choose without labels. The taste challenge was so exciting. I chose Pepsi 😊. I am happy you enjoyed this award, and it was well deserved! Have a great rest of your weekend! 💜 Lisa
